The founder
Built from personal frustration
SVX Automotive started because its founder couldn't find the vehicle he wanted in Sri Lanka. The local agents offered limited features, lower-powered engines, overly hard suspension with no access to the features offered in other global markets like the UK, Australia or Japan.
Rather than settle, he built a sourcing network. What began as one personal import became a full scale operation with operations in five countries, a dedicated logistics and customs clearance team, and a growing roster of customers who wanted more than what the local agents’ offered.
Today, SVX Automotive is part of the Velocity Group — a diversified automotive and logistics group with operations across the Asia-Pacific region. The group's infrastructure gives SVX direct access to manufacturer dealer networks, priority shipping and financing partners that a standalone importer simply can't match.
From advisory to pre-shipment inspections, every vehicle is selected with precision. We manage the entire import process end-to-end — from international sourcing to Sri Lankan clearance and registration — so you never have to deal with ports, customs, or paperwork. Every detail is handled, with documentation and delivery completed seamlessly to your doorstep.
